Davide completed his PhD in 2013 at the Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm, Sweden with Mats Wahlgren where he studied virulence mechanisms in P. falciparum malaria. He then joined the laboratory of Jon Yewdell at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), NIH in Bethesda, USA as a postdoctoral fellow where he elucidated basic rules of antibody and B cell immunodominance to Influenza A virus.
He joined the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at the University of Gothenburg as an assistant professor in summer 2018.
Nimitha Rose Mathew
Nimitha completed her PhD in 2017 at the University of Freiburg in Germany with Robert Zeiser.
She joined the group as a postdoc in January 2019.
Hannes is currently doing his Bachelor and Master theses in the lab
